SÈVRES Two hard porcelain soup plates from the service of Prince Camille Borghese decorated with a gold rosette in the center and on the wing of a frieze of foliage and rosettes on a green chrome background. Marked: M. Imple de Sevres 8 with the vignette in red and green D. 2 S. on one and n° B. S on the other. Empire period, year 1808. D. 23,5 cm. Two small cracks on one plate. Provenance : These plates come from the green background entry service with gold chrome frieze that entered the sales store on December 7, 1808 and was delivered on April 27, 1809 to Prince Camille Borghese (1775-1832), husband of Pauline Bonaparte. The service included fifty soup plates decorated with a gold rosette in the center, the dessert plates are decorated with a crown of flowers in the center.
