GOUSSET LOUIS AUDEMARS About 1874. N°12385 / N°54390. Exceptional yellow gold gousset watch 750/1000 signed Louis Audemars and made for Le Roy et Fils Horloger de la Marine in Paris under the number 54390, circa 1874. This rare and delicate piece is in absolutely perfect condition. Hand-wound mechanical movement with 45 jewels, central deadbeat seconds, hour and minute repeater, with four-year perpetual calendar at 12 o'clock and moon phases at 6 o'clock. Day of the week counter at 9 o'clock and date counter at 3 o'clock. Signed on the case by Le Roy & Fils, hallmarked by Louis Audemars on the inside back. White enamel, Roman numerals. Completely overhauled by watch expert Philippe Prutner in 2001. Works perfectly. Diameter: 56 mm. Gross weight: 186.72 gr. A very fine gold manual winding pocket watch. Double-train, keyless astronomical indepedent dead center-seconds minute-repeating watch with perpetual calendar and phases of the moon. Signed on the cuvette by Le Roy, punched with Louis Audemars trademark inside back cover. White enamel, roman numerals, outer minute/seconds ring with five minute/seconds arabic markers, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four-year leap cycle and aperture with phases of the moon with sector for its age.
