Pisa, November 7, 1809. 1 p. in-4. "I receive your letter which informs me that the marble monument of Carrara has been decidedly stopped, and I thank you for this, because this circumstance must be an important period for the art of sculpture and for the establishments of Carrara, but to complete your work, it would be necessary that Mr. Molinos, whose talents are well known [to the public], should be able to do it. Molinos, whose talents are well known [the architect Jacques Molinos], should determine 1° the approximate cost of the monument, 2° that Mr. Desparcieux or any other skilful sculptor should come and direct the execution of the architect's project.
