1985 Porsche 911 SC Targa
Chassis WPOZZZ91Z1FS160951 Desirable convertible version 127000 miles on the clock Technical control less than 6 months old French collector's CG SC, two letters for "Super Carrera". This was the name of the 911 launched in 1978, which was supposed to be the last 911, following the arrival of the 928 and the 944. Thirteen years after its release, the 911 was a resounding success, having gradually mutated into a more livable GT. Porsche customers were mainly interested in a car that could be driven, with the precision and feel typical of the brand. In order to attract new customers who were more concerned with ease of use and reliability, Porsche developed the SC, whose engine was none other than that of the Turbo, in a naturally-aspirated version of course and with a smoother torque curve than the 2.7 it replaced. The SC was the first Porsche to be fully galvanised, the first to be offered as a convertible and the first to feature power braking. Our SC is of American origin. It is an original unrestored car that runs well. It can either be enjoyed by its owner immediately, or it can benefit from a paint job as the left rear wing has been badly repainted and two small dents on the wing are present. The SC is an interesting offer as it is still affordable, but it is a real Porsche and all the more desirable in Targa version.
