1983 CITROEN VISA CHRONO II
Low mileage 114000km Bombinette offset French registration Upwardly mobile The Citroën Visa II Chrono is a small sports car designed to revitalise the image of a model at the end of its career. It is in line with the Group IV Visa Trophy. The transformation of this little city car into a bombshell is the result of the work of the coachbuilder Heuliez who did not skimp on the plastic appendages, not really shocking on a Citroën of the time. The white bodywork is decorated with blue and red adhesive strips to give it a «racing» look, which was in vogue in the 1980s. There is a front spoiler with long_x0002_range headlights, a rear spoiler, riveted fender flares and 13» AMIL alloy wheels. Initially powered by a 1360cc in-line 4-cylinder engine, derived from the Peugeot 104 ZS2, fed by two Solex twin-barrel carburettors which developed 93 bhp at 5800 rpm. Due to the success of this version, two other series were produced with a 1434 cm3 with 143 bhp. The bombshell with the chevron could finally have fun with the other GTIs. The gearbox is 5-speed, very light (850 kg), it can reach 171 km/h and 100 km/h in 10.2 s. The car we are offering you today is in very good condition and is only waiting for a new owner to confront the legendary GTIs, see you at the next traffic light!
