1977 PORSCHE 911SC "FLAT NOSE'' ALMERAS FRERES
Serial number 9118300298 Engine Type 930/03 - number 0380274 French registration Porsche, that magical and evocative name, is the source of one of the most successful automobiles. And this exceptional success, the brand owes it to a single model: the 911. Emblematic, fabulous, mythical or formidable, all the qualifiers fit. From 1964, the year of its first presentation, to today, the model has evolved with the times. This is obviously a unique case in the history of the automobile. The 911 Carrera 3.0L appeared in 1976. This model will be replaced very quickly, from August 1977, by the 911 Super Carrera called 911 SC. The undeniable advantage of these Porsches is that they are still in the feeling and driving. Apart from the braking assistance, there is no driving assistance. The pleasure of being behind the wheel is complete. The Almeras brothers have worked a lot on the 911 SC, making substantial mechanical preparations, mainly oriented towards competition and especially hill-climbing. The aesthetics was not left out with body kits recognizable between thousand and often inspired by the 911 Flat Nose. This Porsche 911 3,0 SC benefits from a vintage body kit offering the car a Flat Nose front end, rear fenders with scoops, and a Turbo Look spoiler. Finally, the front and rear fascias were revised to receive specific headlights, while streamlined rocker panels were installed and the fenders were widened. Unfortunately, we have no knowledge of the work done on the mechanical part of the car, which is now to be restarted. The car will be sold with a French registration.
