Pair of chased bronze eagles decorated with dragon, lion, crab and grotesque mask, resting on sea green marble bases. After Francesco Bordoni (1580-1654). 19th century. H : 39 cm This is a reduction of the four bronze ewers of the sculptor Francesco Bordoni made for the Tiber fountain in the park of Fontainebleau. They were then placed in the park of Versailles and are now kept in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
