2004 PORSCHE 911 TYPE 996 CARRERA 4S
Serial number WP0ZZZ99Z4S605280 91,500 kilometres Six-speed manual transmission Full logbooks Up-to-date maintenance Many options Same owner for 13 years French registration Flagship model of the Stuttgart brand, the 911 enters a new era with the Type 996 presented in 1997. Indeed, Porsche started from scratch for the design of its model to optimize performance and profitability. The first 911 with a water-cooled engine, the 996 was not unanimously approved by purists at its launch. Nevertheless, thanks to the famous 300-horsepower flat-6 engine, the 996 delivers 911 driving pleasure. Available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a Tiptronic automatic gearbox, the 996 stands out from the other sports cars in time trials thanks to its weight (1300 kg). In 2001, a "phase 2" appears with a new 3.6 engine of 320 hp which equips the 996 Carrera 2 and Carrera 4. This Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4S was delivered new in Düsseldorf on 12 August 2004. It was painted in glossy black and fitted with a beautiful tan leather interior. The following options were available: headlight washers; heated seats; no radio antenna; wheel centres with enamelled badges; cruise control; bi-xenon headlights; reversing radars; radio with Bose speakers; telephone; navigation; stainless steel exhaust system; CD changer; sunroof; rear window wiper. The Porsche was first serviced at Porsche Kürten, from 22,608km to 63,467km, before its current owner purchased it in 2008. It was serviced at Porsche Arpajon, in 2009, at 73,095km, and since 2014 and 88,397km, it has been maintained at Vintage Racing in Paris. With 91,500 kilometers on the odometer today, the car has an up to date maintenance, the distribution having notably been carried out in July 2018. Mechanically and behavior-wise, the Porsche is very well behaved, the engine works normally, as well as the mechanical gearbox which is very pleasant to handle. The running gear does not show any sign of weakness behind the wheel. The paint is in very good condition, without any damage or bumps, as well as the four "Turbo" wheels. The interior is also in excellent condition, the upholstery, as well as the carpets, do not show any signs of wear and tear, the plastics are neither scratched nor broken. This is a very interesting model for its mileage, its color configuration, as well as for its numerous options. Above all, it is a Carrera 4S with a mechanical gearbox, one of the most sought-after versions among enthusiasts.
