The Osenat Automobiles team woke her up. She had been asleep, under her sheets and dust, behind a wooden door, since the introduction of speed limits on French roads in 1974. She is a child of Enzo Ferrari, a 330 GT 2+2. It was on 27 October 1966 that this Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 chassis 8535 was put into circulation by Franco-Britannic, the exclusive importer of the Italian manufacturer in France at that time. It was therefore in Paris that it made its first runs, in the hands of its first owner. In July 1967, it became part of the only family it will know until today. Serving then on a daily basis, she took her owner to the flea market in Saint-Ouen during the week, but also took the whole family skiing in the winter. Unfortunately, the performance of the beautiful Italian girl was to her detriment since in 1974, when speed limits were introduced on French territory, her owner, annoyed by the fines, decided to put her to sleep in his second home in the South-West of France. It was only a few years later that it was sold by the father to one of his two children after a short straw draw, yet, caught up in his career, the man who learned the mechanics of the car had no time to look after it. And so the beauty continued to sleep until today. The Osenat Automobiles team witnessed a real barnstorming session. In a small village close to Montpellier, an old wooden door sheltered a mechanical treasure such as one makes more. The entrance was through a thin wooden door that let the beautiful Italian lady's yellow Carello headlights appear in the darkness. The floating dust and the low November sun created a halo of light that rays on the plunging nose adorned with the rearing horse, the bodywork was finally revealed. The period painting was peeling, like that of a master canvas frozen in time, a canvas signed by the hand of the famous Pininfarina.
