1982 PANTHER LIMA
Serial number 61982A Rare options Collector's French car registration document At the end of the sixties, the Londoner Robert Jankel had only one idea in mind, that of offering to a marginal but "trouble-free" clientele a sophisticated car, resembling the beautiful pre-war sports cars, while having a very modern engine. After several models on a Jaguar base, the Lima was created in 1976, on a Vauxhall Magnum base with a tubular chassis. In 1979, the Lima MK2 benefits from a brand new fully tubular chassis, keeping the 2.3L Vauxhall engine. From a stylistic point of view, the Lima is inspired by the Bugatti of the 1930s, up to the significant paintwork! In total, only 897 units were produced, making it a true collector's car today! This Panther Lima MKII was launched on April 1, 1982, painted in black and white. Its owner acquired it in 2007. The car was in good condition when it was acquired, it has remained so and has been maintained. In recent years, the rocker cover has been chrome plated and the carburettors have been overhauled. The sound produced by this car is very sporty and the whole doesn't leave passers-by indifferent. This is a rare car, a point in the history of the famous English kit car! A file of invoices and documentation will be provided to the buyer.
