Altarpiece in blackened and gilded wood with mother-of-pearl inlay, in the form of an architecture with fluted columns, Corinthian capitals and triangular pediment surmounted by an entablature, small bronze statuettes of Roman soldiers in niches, insertion in the centre of a polychrome painted enamel plaque representing a Roman soldier, a torch in his hand, a burning temple behind him (fire of the Capitol?), blue counter-enamel with signature Bte Nouailher in Limoges. End of the 17th century Height: 89.5 cm - Width: 54.5 cm (enamel restoration, some accidents, lacks and restorations, possible posterior pediment)
