In Paris, by Clzude Barbin, on the Second Perron de la Sainte Chapelle, 1695, 2 volumes in-4 of about 280 x 210 mm. Used binding on the spine, tears on one of the folding boards, missing head covers, bare corners, epiderminations and rubbing. Biography: Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinie, born on 1 March 1626 in Chabanais (Charente) and died on 11 November 1688 in Versailles, was a French lawyer, gardener and agronomist who was the creator of the King's Vegetable Garden at Versailles.
