In-8, 48 pp. 48, half marinated long grain garnet with corners, marbled long grain paper dishes, marbled edges, slightly blunt corners, stained, cut and restored frontispiece, small spot on pl. 30 and 31, some pencil annotations (period binding). Original edition. Detailed account of the ceremonies and celebrations with details on the monuments and ornaments created for the occasion by the painter Pierre-Paul Prudhon, or the architects Charles Percier, Pierre-François-Léonard Fontaine, Jean-François-Thérèse Chalgrin, Antoine-Jean-Baptiste Rondelet (Monglond, t. VIII, col. 650-653). 55 plates engraved on copper out of text by Charles Normand (Grand Prix de Rome d'architecture in 1792) and his son Louis-Marie, one frontispiece and 54 numbered plates including one leaflet.
