SIEYÈS (Emmanuel-Joseph), Exhibit signed as Secretary of the National Assembly, countersigned by 2 other Secretaries, Nicolas Louis François de Neufchâteau, Marguerite-Élie Guadet, and by the President, Charles Delacroix. Paris, 13 October 1792. 1 p. in-folio printed with handwritten additions, wax seal on paper of the Convention. Certificate of life: "We, the President and Secretaries of the National Convention, certify to all that it will belong to all, that Mr. René François Primaudière, Member of Parliament for Sarthe at the National Convention, is alive, for having appeared before us today, to request the present, and that he has been in his position since 1 8bre 1791... "The form was printed for the National Assembly, with the fleur-de-lis letterhead engraved on wood, and corrected to be reused for the Convention which had just opened its proceedings on 21 September 1792. Provenance: collection of the writer Jules de Gères (stamp of the library of his castle of Mony in Rions in Gironde).
