Chapska of an officer of the Lancers of France Visor and headband in patent leather. Pavilion covered with scarlet cloth (minor restoration on the pavilion), with three-row cracked braid (the one in the silvery middle) and soutaches in gold trimmings. Corner reinforcements and chinstrap fasteners made of silver plated brass lion's muzzle. Chinstrap with curb chain rings, rush and radiant plate with the great French weapons on a bundle of brass spears (remains of gilding). Officer's cockade embroidered with silver thread, with a white thread heart. Willow plumet in white feather with brass olive. Racket cord in silver thread trimmings. Interior cap in leather and coated canvas. Interior lined with period paper. B.E. Era Restoration
