Light Cavalry Officer's sword. A gilded brass frame called "à la chasseur", with a long skirted cap. Guard with three branches and two mumps in a shuttle carved with flowers, foliage, foliage, scrolls and rhombuses. Quillon curved down, in a drop. Curved blade with flat back, counter-edge and hollow sections. Furnace in patinated iron sheet with gilded brass trim, two large bracelets decorated with lion muffles in a half round bump and a long bouterolle nicely carved with foliage bouquets. B.E. Period I Empire/Restoration.
