PARIS Covered water pot and its porcelain basin with polychrome decoration of bouquets of flowers and roses in compartments. End of the 18th century. Height 21 cm. Length 29 cm. Shock at the bottom of the pool and restoration on the upper edge of the water pot. Provenance: a handwritten label bears the mention: Ewer and bowl in old Paris porcelain offered by Caroline Bonaparte, wife of my great-great uncle, Joachim Murat, King of Naples and the 2 Sicilies to Rosalie Bonafous-Murat, my great aunt, wife of Baron Lafon de Caïx, Deputy, Préfet du Tarn, died on November 17, 1853 in Caïx. These objects (...) were transmitted to me by Baroness Henri Lardenois, granddaughter without posterity of Rosalie Bonafous-Murat.
