Sèvres Porcelain soup plate with polychrome...

Sèvres Porcelain soup plate with polychrome decoration of flower seedlings around a gold rosette in the centre, and on the wing of garlands of flowers and foliage suspended from a frieze of gold laurel. Marked : LL interlaced, Sèvres 21 and fleur-de-lis, C.D. in black Epoque Louis XVIII, 1821. D. 23.2 cm. This plate probably comes from a department named in the archives of the Sèvres factory, Service fleurs et papillons colorés, whose plain plates are decorated in the centre of a butterfly. He entered the sales store in August 1822 (Arch. MNS., Vv1, folio 183). It is then divided: a first part delivered for the Palais de Compiègne in 1824, the second part offered to Monsieur Roux de La Rochelle in 1834
