"Portraits of Grand Dukes Alexander, future Tsar Alexander I, and Constantine, on horseback in front of an infantry regiment, circa 1795" Rectangular pastel on paper. Under glass. Modern gilded frame. B.E. Related work: - Paul I, accompanied by his sons Alexander and Constantine, with the Count Palatine of Hungary, by Egor Botman. 1840. Chuvash National Museum (Cheboksary) History: The two young men are in double-breasted green uniform. Alexandre wears the blue collar. The two men carry the orders of Saint André (cordon and plaque) and in saltire the order of Saint Anne in diamonds.
