1934 MG PA Tourer

PA 1872 serial number

Well maintained car

Same owner for 10 years

Eligible for Le Mans Classic

French title

The MG type PA of the sale is in a very beautiful state of presentation. The bodywork, paint and interior in black leather and green piping are still in good condition. The engine starts at the first request. Its restoration dates from 1992 and is signed by the apposition of an engraved plate under the hood and indicating: "Restored in 1991/92 by N. G. Veit".

This PA is equipped with a quick release radiator cap. The dashboard is beautiful as well woodwork as the instruments. Since 2009 and its acquisition by its current owner, this PA has been very well maintained over the miles, while being made more reliable as and when. The registration card gives us the date of March 1st, 1934, as the date of first registration, which corresponds to the official launch of the model, the production having begun two months before. The PA1872 bodywork is one of the 498 "Open 4 Seater", only 498 PA chassis cars were built in Tourer 4 seater (a rarity compared to the 2-seater model, which came out with 1,396 cars). The rear is reworked and the fuel tank with a slightly lower capacity is no longer apparent. This is also the last time that MG will make the Tourer 4 places, all the rest of the production will be done in simple roadster. We will no longer see the beautiful honeycomb radiator grille and after the Midget P, there will be anymore engines with head camshaft. The P is really a MG apart, a real pre-war very prestigious in which even the big ones feel good! This is also the latest hand-built MG. This is the most beautiful MG PA we have presented.
